Join me for a beautiful evening of Kirtan on Friday 31st May.

Kirtan is a form of devotional chanting whose roots go back over 500 years to India. It is a form of Bhakti Yoga (yoga of devotion) and has the power to open the heart. By repeating simple mantras over and over, kirtan is an effortless way to experience some freedom from the daily chatter of the mind, taking us deeper into Silence.

Kirtan is for everyone. No prior experience of chanting is necessary to gain the many benefits it has to offer, simply an openness to what may occur. Through chanting, you meet the practice exactly where you need to. This might be finding a still point of relaxation after a hectic week at work, or the joy of singing together, of opening our hearts, offering our prayers to the Divine, or simply being present to the moment.

"Tim’s music connected me with the Universe and everyone around me, while I sang with such eternal happiness that tears soaked my cheeks and dripped off my jaw onto my lap and I didn’t care." - Lisa Cherry Beaumont (Lisa's Life Lessons blog)

Hi Tim

Interested to come to one of your Kirtan sessions in Bristol. Bristol seems to have only two Kirtan sessions a month, both on the last Friday - yours and one run by Arianne (see are these related? Torn because of the XR fundraiser at the same time this Friday in Southville..
