Tim Chalice
Biography
Music has always played a significant role in my life. In my teenage years and early twenties, I was active in various bands, but it wasn’t until my late twenties that I discovered my deepest joy came from singing. Following a period of spiritual exploration and awakening — and after spending several years exploring different forms of voice work and sound healing — I attended my first workshop with Chloe Goodchild and The Naked Voice in 2005. That transformative experience marked the beginning of my journey as a devotional singer, which crystallised in 2006 with the release of my first CD Planting Peace, a life-changing trip to India and the creation of my first public chanting sessions in Bristol. Since then, I’ve been on an extraordinary journey, continually inspired by the profound power of voice and chanting to bring about deep transformation in people’s lives.
In June 2012, I released my first Kirtan CD, Devotional Heart, recorded with Tom Simenauer, and released the follow-up, Give It All Away For Love, in April 2016.

In recent years I have sung all over the UK upon invitation, including Bath, Cheltenham, Stroud, Glastonbury, Cardiff, Swansea, Liverpool, Macclesfield, Sheffield, and Manchester. I have also sung at various wonderful bhakti gatherings, including the Winter Bhakti Gathering (Gloucestershire), the Easter Bhakti Gathering (Sussex), the Bhakti Music Festival (Somerset), Colourfest (Dorset), Santosa Living Yoga & Bhakti Camp (Somerset), Bhakti Imbolc Gathering (Sussex), Be Love (London) and the Beltane Bhakti Gathering (Dorset).
I am currently running regular sessions in Bristol, Bath, and Stroud. See Events and for all my upcoming dates.

I also lead Bhakti Yoga and Kirtan workshops for a couple of yoga training courses (Yogafure & Yoga By Nature).
I offer one-to-one and group sessions for those interested in developing their voice, chanting or harmonium skills. I love working in this way and would be delighted to support anyone in their journey, either in person or online.
